Saki's Greek
Introduced through his cousin's cousin Alan (a friend of a friend of a friend of mine), Tasir hails from Greece and purchased a Greek takeout spot in Burlington, ON.

His goal was to incorporate some interesting and authentic elements from Ancient Greek culture into a dynamic and exciting mural.

From the looks of things...we managed just that.
A look at the first mural.
Statues from ancient Greece served as the main elements and backdrop for the first wall.
Red Figure Vase art which originated in Athens around
520 BCE served as the inspiration for the borders
situated below the main murals
Traditional Greek patterns were also used to frame the first wall
The second mural featured the likeness of an Athenian beauty with the Greek islands serving as the backdrop.
The island of Santorini was
used as the reference.
